Yesterday a good friend of mine was having coffee and a mother and her child sat down next to her.
The young child asked her mum "What does that lady have there".
To her surprise the mother replied "That's filth" whilst hitting the child as if telling her that's bad.
For me and my friend... that's very sad as we are both tattooed. (that is my leg in the photo)

If body art if filth for this lady, and hitting her child (if this is true) leads to one conclusion that the person is even uglier inside then the ink on our skins.
ReplyDeleteThe acceptance of body art (i.e. Tattoos) is argumentative, and has been for a very long time, and this will sadly never change as opinions differ. But it is rude and arrogant to shout your different opinion in such a way that this person has towards you and your friend, along with educating the child wrongly as to why her opinion sands. It's like saying no to something yet you're left without an explanation as why you said no...
